“Negotiate your own writing goals and audience expectations regarding conventions on genre, medium, and rhetoric situations?”

My writing goals and audience expectation changes with a different genre, medium, and rhetorical situation. We have to do genre analysis for all major assignments so we understand what to write about. Every genre that was written in class was different because of how it was written. Genre analysis helped us a lot in realizing what we should write and how we should write it (FIgure 1) . Another thing that helped was doing peer review because we learned new things that should be added to the document which helped change our writing style and what we should write.
