Purpose

The purpose is one of the rhetoric elements that are pretty simple and easy to understand. Purpose allows us to question what we are trying to achieve with our topic and how it can affect the audience. Am I trying to persuade or inform the audience? These are the type of question that was asked during most of the assignments in this class. The purpose of a subject should be known before writing a paper since it will impact many of the other rhetoric elements.

In this course the purpose of each assignment was different. At the start, the purpose was something simple to find out since we started with an easy assignment. As time went on I was able to think of various audiences based on one specific topic, for Example In the Engineering proposal, I focused on how to make an app that requires access from the government and local areas. Fort this there were hundreds of audience. I was able to get the perfect audience because as the course progressed I was able to analyze the purpose because it was very specific. In the final project we stated out problem and what we plan to do. In Figure 1 we outlay the issue. In figure 2 we outlay the issue and what we plan to do about it.
